Seyi Bolorunduro MD MPH FACC FSCAI

Dr. Seyi Bolorunduro, an interventional cardiologist, is our newest addition to the NOVA Cardiovascular Care team. His clinical experience and procedural skills are a complementary addition to our growing practice.

Dr. Bolorunduro graduated as class valedictorian from medical school, awarded a Global Health scholarship for his master's degree at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University and completed his Internal medicine residency at The Maimonides Medical Center of New York. Subsequently, Dr. Bolorunduro completed his General Cardiology Fellowship at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. Dr. Bolorunduro continued his training with an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Bolorunduro was awarded a "Best Doctor award for Northern Virginia 2020”. Dr. Bolorunduro is board certified in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Bolorunduro has performed over 1000 heart procedures including catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral interventions focusing on advanced procedure techniques. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Bolorunduro has authored over 40 published manuscripts in several distinguished peer-reviewed journals, with his projects winning multiple research awards in the process. These distinctions include the American College of Cardiology and the Association of Black Cardiologists' Young Investigator Awards.
