Vikaas Kataria, MD, FACC, RPVI

Vikaas Kataria, MD, FACC is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in treating coronary and peripheral vascular disease. He is originally from Maryland and earned his bachelor's degree with honors at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He then completed his medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL and in Cardiovascular Disease at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital in Manhasset, NY. After completing his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside and Beth Israel Hospitals in New York, NY, he moved close to home and joined NOVA Cardiovascular Care in Woodbridge and Stafford, VA as an Interventional Cardiologist. He and his wife, an optometrist in Virginia, enjoy travelling, spending time with family, and cooking together. He is passionate about providing excellent patient care for the community of Northern Virginia.

Dr. Kataria is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation as well as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
